– Cartus Corporation, the premier provider of global employee relocation solutions serving the corporate, government and affinity markets, today named CENTURY 21 Scheetz as the sole principal broker responsible for providing real estate services for the Cartus Broker Network in the greater Indianapolis market. Simultaneously, Cartus announced that Realty Group, which had previously served as co-principal broker in the market, is no longer a member of the Cartus Broker Network.
"CENTURY 21 Scheetz has served our clients with distinction, and among other honors, the firm earned recognition in our Platinum Club in both 2009 and 2010," said Cartus President and CEO Kevin Kelleher. "The Platinum Club is a service excellence award whose recipients comprise the top 2 percent of the Cartus Broker Network’s approximately 1,000 residential real estate brokers nationwide."
"Being selected by Cartus as its sole principal network broker for our market area underscores the value we bring in delivering an exceptional customer experience to all homebuyers and sellers moving into or out of greater Indianapolis," said Tracy Hutton, president of CENTURY 21 Scheetz. "We are proud of our position as a leader within the CENTURY 21 System, and we are extremely well-positioned to serve the increased volume of business locally as Cartus continues to grow and as Indianapolis remains a premier relocation destination for corporations and families alike."
In January 2010, Cartus acquired Primacy Relocation, a prominent relocation and global assignment management services company based in Memphis, Tenn. On a combined basis, the new Cartus is responsible for assisting more than 140,000 individuals on an annual basis. In Primacy’s 2008 report, "Best Cities for Relocating Families," the Indianapolis/Carmel, Ind., metro area ranked No. 2 among large markets.
Representing nearly 1,000 of the top-performing brokers across the country, the Cartus Broker Network provides real estate services to clients and customers of Cartus’ affinity, corporate, and government clients. In 2009, Cartus and the Cartus Broker Network closed sales of more than 63,000 properties on behalf of Cartus clients and Network members with an approximate value of $17 billion.
Formed in 1976, CENTURY 21 Scheetz has since grown to five offices and 300 agents serving the Indianapolis metropolitan area. As part of the CENTURY 21 franchise system, the largest residential real estate sales organization in the world with more than 7,700 offices and nearly 117,000 real estate professionals in more than 67 countries and territories, CENTURY 21 Scheetz has the ability to help move individuals and families across town, across the country or around the world.
