Danbury, 06 Oct 2011 - DANBURY, Conn. (Oct. 6, 2011) — The Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) awarded a top relocation honor to Cartus Corporation—the leading provider of global employee relocation management—and its client, GE, during FEM’s U.S. Global Mobility Summit awards ceremony held recently in Chicago.
The Cartus-GE relationship was honored as the “Best Vendor Partnership” during the announcement of the organization’s Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards, known as the “EMMAs.” The EMMAs recognize the expatriate and relocation management industry’s leaders, business successes, and rising stars.
Accepting the Best Vendor Partnership award on behalf of the company, Cartus Senior Vice President and General Manager Mike Brannan said, “We are greatly honored to be recognized by the Forum for Expatriate Management with this prestigious award acknowledging our exceptionally long and dynamic partnership with GE. Our relationship is a model for innovation and best practices that come from continuously challenging our capabilities.”
Lisa Vanderminden, manager, customer service at GE said, “Over the last 30-plus years, GE and Cartus have partnered effectively to improve the GE program, by focusing on service, quality control, and defect analysis, to the point that the GE program has become what we consider to be world class. We are gratified that winning this award adds external validation of our program and shows what we can achieve when working with a great partner over a period of time.”
This is the second consecutive year that Cartus has taken home the Best Vendor Partnership award, having won the awards last year with Textron in the U.S. and with Citi in the UK.
“Winning an EMMA is the ultimate recognition of professional excellence,” said Brian Friedman, founder of FEM. “All of our nominees share an abiding dedication to providing the highest levels of client service and maximizing assignee satisfaction.”
