Cartus Broker Network: Experts Helping Relocating Employees Buy and Sell Their Homes

Earlier this spring, I had the pleasure of attending our annual Cartus Broker Network International Conference, which brought together Cartus Broker Network members, clients, and industry experts. The conference provided a forum for eager participation through workshops, roundtable discussions, and executive presentations.

I can attest that this is one of the most impressive gatherings of real estate professionals in the United States. In 2014, Cartus and the Cartus Broker Network closed sales on more than 95,000 properties, with a value of more than $26.6 billion, on behalf of Cartus clients. Our Network members have closed well over a million homes since its inception.

With a focus on customer service, the conference features training that results in cost savings, productive moves, and smoother transactions for Cartus clients and their relocating employees. These specially trained agents hold to the industry’s highest performance standards, which are recognized during this important conference.

An astounding 478 awards were presented during the conference. CENTURY 21 Scheetz from Indianapolis, IN, took home our top award, The Masters Cup. Finalists included Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate David Winans & Associates, Dallas, TX; Coldwell Banker Advantage, Raleigh, NC; Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, Raleigh, NC; and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage of New England, Boston, MA.

Having had the opportunity to meet with brokers and relocation department leadership at the conference, I can see why our network provides more accurate BMAs, achieves amended sales rates that save clients more than $42,000 per home by keeping homes out of inventory, and achieves more accurate pricing and shorter marketing times than non-network brokers.

The enthusiasm was infectious, and everywhere I turned, brokers were sharing best practices to provide better service to home buyers and sellers, and strategies to grow their business.
