An Industry-Level Look at U.S. Relocation Trends

Posted by: Patrick Lewis, Manager, Marketing Communications

We know that in relocation, one size does not fit all. Policies are as unique as the companies that provide the benefits, with changing demographics and employee needs adding layers of complexity to even the most finely tuned programs.

To help provide a deeper level of insight on your industry, and to keep your U.S. program and policies competitive, we have just issued a new set of industry profiles based on our recent 2017 Domestic U.S. Relocation Policy and Practices survey. The survey received responses from 141 U.S. relocation managers, from organizations representing more than 10 million employees. We prepared industry sector profiles, looking at a number of key survey questions and comparing the results of each sector against the rest of the survey respondents. This approach provides insight into how specific industries are approaching areas such as relocation policy, talent shortages, U.S. short-term and rotational assignments, challenges, and more.

To obtain a profile for your industry sector, please contact your Cartus representative, or request a copy. You can also read our full 2017 Domestic U.S. Relocation Policy and Practices survey and, for more information on other areas of relocation, visit our Resource Hub on Cartus.com.
