Cartus Passes Annual Supply Chain ISO Accreditation
With our continued focus on ethics and compliance in every area of our business, we are proud to announce that Cartus’ Supply Chain Management recently passed its annual global ISO 9001:2008 accreditation in all three regions: the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and EMEA. The global audit comprised two phases; first was the submission of our detailed Quality Manual and Procedures guide for rigorous examination, followed by a one-day, onsite audit by inspectors at each of our Danbury, Singapore, and Swindon service centers.
What does this mean to you?
For organizations. Cartus’ ongoing supplier sourcing, selection and management is amongst the most rigorous in the relocation industry. The ISO accreditation is external verification of our focus on compliance as well as our adherence to the exacting standards set by ISO certification. To further demonstrate our commitment in this, we have a dedicated Quality Assurance Executive in each of our three regions, to monitor and ensure that our supply chain standards and processes remain the highest they can be.
For assignees. Our suppliers are an extension of us; they are on the front lines of every move, with their primary objective to deliver the highest quality of seamless service to our clients and customers. The Cartus Supply Chain team works closely with each and every supplier, using established and rigorous management and monitoring practices that include ISO certification to minimize risk.
What is ISO 9001?
ISO 9001 is an international business standard containing criteria for the documentation, implementation and certification of a quality management system. Accreditation is exacting and is audited on an annual basis. Cartus has held ISO 9001 continuously since 2005.
