Cartus UK Estate Agency Donates Over 15,000 Items of Food to Charity

Relocation Agent Network, Cartus’ UK estate agency network, held a national event in June to collect items of food and vital supplies for UK Richard Swindon Donations.jpgfoodbanks. The event, called #RANFoodbank10k, aimed to collect at least 10,000 items and I’m delighted to say we went over and above our target, actually collecting more than 15,000!

Taking place between 13 and 20 June, the event saw Relocation Agent Network member offices across England, Scotland and Wales, collect vital supplies to help support local foodbanks, which provide support and supplies to those who need it most. To help tackle food poverty, donations were made by both estate agents and their customers and local communities.

This is the second year that Relocation Agent Network has hosted such an event, which coincided with Agents Giving’s ‘Support Your Local Foodbank’ on 20 June. Agents Giving is a UK-based charity that works with estate and letting agents and their suppliers to encourage and support fundraising activities within the industry.

I’m thrilled that we were able to smash our target. An event like this really does demonstrate the power of our network and what can be achieved when our members work together. We know that the donations will make a real difference to support people in crisis and I would like to thank all of our participating Relocation Agent Network members for really getting behind this initiative and helping us to make it such a success.

Local Experts

Each member of Relocation Agent Network is invited onto the Network, following extensive checks, with just one estate agent in any given area selected to join. This means that Cartus can be confident that every one of our Relocation Agent Network members really is the 'Local Expert' in their area, and continues to provide the highest customer service to our UK clients and their international assignees.

When we launched Relocation Agent Network back in 1994, our vision was to create a network of local experts across the UK who would guide Cartus assignees and their relocating families through the home buying and selling process.
