Realogy and Cartus Make the Swanepoel Power 200 List!

The Swanepoel Power 200 list—naming the most powerful people in U.S. residential real estate—is out, and Realogy’s Richard Smith is #1, with Cartus’ Kevin Kelleher #36. A total of 33 Realogy executives and independent franchisees affiliated with Realogy’s brands were recognized on the list, which includes selected leaders who are “showing the way” by empowering their teams, changing the rules, and creating new opportunities.

Kevin’s entry salutes his 30-plus years of corporate relocation leadership—a timely tribute as we at Cartus celebrate our 60th year in the business, and decades of guidance on real estate markets and experience.  Kevin was also the guiding force in launching Cartus’ Affinity business in 1989, a move that leveraged Cartus’ key competencies, providing consulting and real estate-related services to members of affinity organizations. To date we have assisted nearly 550,000 Affinity members with buying or selling a home and provided more than US$479 million in cash rebates back to families.

Swanepoel’s editorial team reviewed a veritable blizzard of nominations, ultimately narrowing them down to 1,000, which were then subjected to an even more rigorous review process. Swanepoel is deservedly proud of its selection process, saying “There is no pay-to-play, no old boys club, and no favors for friends. If you made it to the SP200 you are most certainly deserving of your inclusion, and we salute you!”

So do we!

Congratulations to Richard, Kevin, and the other Realogy winners!
